FLEXIcontent Stable? was created by Olinad
I read on twitter that FLEXIcontet stable is already on and running on some websites (Emmanuel's words). So how come it still can't be downloaded here? Could it be tried for the sake of translation at least? :D

I read it too, I guess Emmanuel is making sure all is ok before the "public" release ...

.
The "Stable" version is being worked on almost every day.
See: Committed Changes
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/source/list

You can download the current code from the FLEXIcontent SVN.
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/source/checkout

Edgar (orchid1) made a tutorial on how to download the FLEXIcontent SVN.
www.flexicontent.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php...0&t=877&p=3980#p3980

You could also simply browse the SVN and download the current language files
(there have been some additions).
code.google.com/p/flexicontent/source/br...trunk/language/en-GB

Keep in mind this is NOT fully tested and released code.
It is a work-in-progress and may still have issues.
Please do not install on a live site and then post here about problems.
The SVN is available for testing and to make it easier for people to contribute code.
And it enables everyone to monitor what is happening.

Thank you, I was looking forward to trying it out :D I won't ask for solutions to problems here, obviously, but I may show up if I find out a bug that hasn't been noticed by anyone else (I'll be sure to check carefully before writing anything, obviously :D )

Is there a way of trying FLEXIcontent's module too? It ain't on the SVN... I wanted to edit a pre-existent module to make it work with FLEXIcontent's primary/secondary category feature, but I can't seem to understand what to do. Maybe watching how it is done on there it'd be easier for me to get what I want :D

SVN is only for the components code right now
there is no SVN for the module or any plugins
It would be a bit over kill

maybe when it is released there will be a folder for it but for now I dont think that is the case

glad to hear you got something working though
:D

I packaged the current SVN into an installation package.
This is the SVN as of revision 120 (2010-02-26).

Download here:
flexicontent.googlecode.com/files/com_fl...t_1.5_svn_rev120.zip

Installed it over 1.5 beta 5a.
So far so good.
:D
