[SOLVED] Using Font Awesome in Field Elements

Hi,

1. Did you need to change some structural code to achieve that or can I just use <span... instead of <i... and get the same results??

2. Also I agree with ggppdk, it would be nice to remove the radio or checkbox and make the image or font select-able itself. This would make for very stylish filters.

3. It would also be nice if you could use the check box/radio images as buttons you can toggle. So a tick shows specific filtered values and no tick shows everything else. e.g. "Only show red items" and if they select it then results are filtered by red and if not then all the results are shown. Like a toggle button.

Ahh OK so this feature is not available yet in any of the current Flexi-content releases?

In the mean time I have found a work around for the problem. It's very hacky and looks terrible but it actually works and gives a clean icon instead of the image in a Radio Image or Radio Check type field:

value::label::" style="display:none;"><i class="fa fa-wifi" aria-hidden="true"></i><span %%

As I said it looks messy but works. The first " style="display:none;"> tricks the browser into thinking it loaded a broken image and then removes the display. Then the font. Then a new <span for the browser to render and remove all the other styling.

Hope this helps someone until the update with the new features. :)
