Front End Editing - cannot edit items when given ownership was created by sparky

I have imported standard joomla articles that were crated as sample data when installing Joomla, and then I changed the ownership of these from Admin to the specific users, however, when editing in the front end, the user changes/adds text to the article, but when saved those changes are not saved. This only appears to happen with articles created originally by Admin, and when they are transferred to a different user ownership.

hello do change permission on this article not only flexiaccess menu ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I am having exactly the same problem. All permission have been saved and my readers have been set to be able to publish their own work. None of the changes are being saved.
