It looks like the server is outputting the PHP file without executing it.

It is either a server configuration issue or maybe file has been altered.

Try re-uploading the universal flexicontent module (mod_flexicontent) files via FTP.

Short tags (<?) are only available when they are enabled via the short_open_tag php.ini configuration file directive, or if PHP was configured with the --enable-short-tags option.
therefore i think it is actually better to use no short tags
