please do not use double post ... ;)

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I posted a reference to the original post, because two products are involved. Anything wrong with that on this board?

My question here would actually be:
How can I prevent the Gmap plugin from being rendered in the module?

I would even hardcode it in the module for now.
I just finished a sites layout and as I'm feeding in content now, I first noticed it.

Is there a way?
Otherwise one can't use the module on pages which contain a Gmap field.

You mean the field is created by the module ?

Please GOTO to "Display parameters for ITEMs (used by some Layouts)"

and at the bottom check and remove it from
"Fields parameters" list

also make sure you have not entered the field in "Skip Empty fields" List because it will be created

No, the fields gmap code is inserted once for every item in the module, if the template contains it.
If you have a module containing 5 items, the gmap code is inserted 5 times, if the template contains it. That messes up the map for the main item.
I don't use the map field at all in the module.

This can only be fixed by the plugin itself, a flag must be set not to include unneeded js an css multiple times.

There is nothing you can do at the module since this can only be fixed by the plugin.

Further more i do not if the code you refer to needs or Not, to be inserted multiple times.

Have you contacted author of the plugin?

I posted on this board in the 3rd party plugins forum and on his gcode page.
Thanks anyway.
