Hi,
I just want to show a list of category links in the module. It the module settings it says that item count has to be set to 0 to do this. No matter what I fill in here, I never get just a list of categories...

This issue still exist with the latest FC version. I have to "exclude all items state". Then, no item links are shown. Which is fine as a fix, but there is still no way to hide the "More category items" link!

You don't need to set any SCOPE method to exclude, you can simply set it to "ALL"

- Set number of items to zero
- In category SCOPE select categories
- in "module parameters" configure the category information that needs to be displayed

about "more category items" you are right the parameter show readmore in "module parameters" is ignored (it is there under section image parameters)

i am commiting fix for it

line 1293 in helper.php file of the module:
$catconf->readmore = (int)$params->get('cats_currcat_readmore', 1);
should be:
$catconf->readmore = (int)$params->get('cats_readmore', 1);

Update:
In r1470:
+ (a) Enhanced Category SCOPE of FLEXIcontent module to include parent/children categories when statically selecting specific categories and a minor fix of read
more items for category data not used,

Not working for me without setting exclude all items with state setting!
