Hide the field label of empty fields

When you select additional fields and yes to display labels, the Universal module displays the field label even on empty fields.

Is it a way to avoid that?

This makes sense, and it is minor to add an option for this in next revision commits, will do

ggppdk,

the labels are now OK with you new commit but there is another little problem: Some fields are set to never display the label and with the module they always show the label if you chose show label option.

Is it a way to avoid that? Otherwise I will have to use 3 modules to show one line of text (2 fields without labels + 1 field with label and finally 2 fields without).

Thanks.

You mean fields, that individually customized, like title, text, date fields , and not the extra fields, right?

Where are these fields, set not to show the label?

In their field configuration?

FLEXIcontent module does not use these settings.

Try CSS:
Code:
.field_block.field_myfield34 field_label { display:none; }

OK I will do it like that but there is more work and a risk of error for every field we add.

It had be simpler and more logical to take care of the field configuration.

I think that only one setting is always better than having one way to do it on one place and another way to do it in another place.

It will be more easy to set.
