How to control the building of the read more link?

I have my items organised in categories, e.g. Africa > Marocco > South with "South" being the primary category. When the module displays all the items in the same category it adds the "read more" link dependent on the category order I can see in the back end table of items. The "read more" link takes the first category in the list, which is a bug IMHO because I just cant figure out how to sort the categories.

I think there are two ways to solve this:
1. always built the link using the primary category
2. allow the admin to sort the categories in the item table

we have changed the item links

these will be always built with primary category:
- if CATEGORY scope is not used

these will be built with first found category
- when CATEGORY scope is set in include mode !
