Spot on! You nailed it! Yes, this would be the ideal solution for my setup. I just don't know how many other websites would need that to make it worth the coding effort.

Hello

this is implementable in an SQL query,

but i am not sure if it will be fast enough in large sites (10,000+ items)

will open an enhancement issue for this

My site for that setup has not more than 1000 articles in near future. So I would be able to test the functionlity but not the scalability.
