Responsive Slideshow

Hello,
I am sure you have had this questions on many occasion, but I cannot find a solution that works.
Can you create a Universal Flexi Module to responsively resize a Mini-Gallery (image only slideshow) field. I have tried to use as a news template and carousel, but without success.
The images are 1000px wide, but when the browser window is resized or looking on a phone, the whole picture does not appear.

Any help is much appreciated.

i forgot to mention
the responsive behaviour and image usage in the module
- only supports using the image gallery field (as a source of the images) and not the mini-gallery field

I have now configured the field to be "image or Gallery). Loaded up 3 images for the item and now it shows all 3 images in frontend with no carousel in affect. What am I doing wrong.

1. about item view
- the image / gallery field has various mode, popup or inline gallery
e.g. typically popup JS galleries, will list thumbnails only

set the JS gallery parameter

2. about universal module,
currently will only show 1 image per item, because it slides / displayes content items

OK. so let me ask another way.
When displaying and item using the defined FC template, how can a create a slider to show several images for that unique item within the responsive layout which resizes.

From what I see of the functions this is possible, but in practice, it does not seem to work.

inside the image field, try setting the parameter for
gallery mode

to "Elasticslide", but also test all avaliable alternatives too
