[SOLVED] Universal content module , Carousel teplate issue

Hi

Something not right.
Using latest Flexicontent version.

Carousal mode.
All standard settings.
- But facing challenges - module height = number of total items
- standard items text not displayed nor links enabled.
- other features too not ok

The Javascript (fcxSlide.js) is not loaded,
instead i see the old carousel JS being loaded , which is mootools-based "noobSlide.js"

but the problem should be that you only have 1 item,
- try to configure module so that it has more items standard items than 1

Your access is still intact if needed.
Changed total items to 25 and featured to 5.
(earlier it was total 5 and featured 1)

Any idea why would the javascript issue be there? How to solve it?

Is there a way to do clean setup of Flexicontent without destroying my creations?

in the module you seem to have an older customization of the the previous carousel template e.g. "mycarousel"
- test with built in template "carousel"

I have not customized the module...

Attached screenshot.. Of files.

However if there is an update issue.. How do I resolve it?

So.. Now I just tried an experiment. I renamed the module/mod_fls icontent/tmpl/carousal folder. Then checked output. It worked. (but the thumbnails displayed below were not clicking) . Also not sure if I should get next previous etc?

Then I reinstalled Flexicontent. The display is back to being problem.

problem is that you have a template overrides in Joomla template folder:

templates/gk_gamenews/html/mod_flexicontent/

you have overrides for:
- carousel
- news
- select

i have renamed the 'carousel' to 'mycarousel' and now it is working

about why the old carousel is not working, i am not sure, and will not look at custom code
