Flexiaccess installation error

Flexiaccess installation error was created by j0rdan92

When uploading the flexiaccess component to my site I get a server error.

I also tried uploading it to a site on my local machine I get this error:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined method JXMLElement::getElementByPath() in C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla25\administrator\components\com_flexiaccess\install.php on line 38"

Why is it not working

Flexiaccess is for j1.5 not for joomla 2.5

For joomla 2.5 use acl

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
