The bonus of related items fields is the easy navigation of categories and items and quick multi-add/remove, and it also respects the Flexiaccess privileges of the current user upon the categories, and has a language filter. Furthermore you can have multiple such fields inside the item.

But i did not find time to add all options i wanted e.g. limiting categories on the fields configuration and using AJAX to load items or compressing the item list etc (important on very big sites with more that 5.000).

I will like to hear suggestions on improving it.
