-dans la category => pareil

do as micker said,
(global config = we mean FLEXIcontent component parameters, just click the "configuration" button at top right)

-- just avoid setting parameters in category, always prefer to set Component setting , and leaving your categories to have parameters "Use Global"
... this will make configuration easier,

-- if you set some parameters in a category and you want to use same parameters in other categories then use the button "Copy parameters" in category manager

Sauf que c'est dans : configuration général => Listes des articles => Alpha-index, Recherche, filtre => Catégorie Alpha Index.
Il n y a pas de "catégorie view"

no it is not there,
the "per category" parameters
are in the category management TAB
... when you edit a category

mais ça marche quand je désactive ici :
general configuration => Items Lists Alpha-index, search, filter => Alpha Index.
le Alpha Index ne s'affiche plus

but it works when I turn off here :
general configuration => Items Lists Alpha-index, search, filter => Alpha Index.
Alpha Index is no longer displayed

of course it works

i said that if you want to change this for just one category called "AA" (show alpha-index in one category but hide it on all other 100 categories)

then you edit the category "AA" and enable alpha-index for just this category
