Hello

the binding was meant for initial installation that is why you only select 1 type and then bind all items to it

so now only way would be to bind all of them to same type and then edit each item and change type

why are you submitting/creating items outside of FLEXIcontent ?

is it an import script, maybe you can try using FLEXIcontent CSV import

well, as I said various times in this post and other, this is legacy from old or migration from joomla 1.5 to joomla 2.5 or due to the old component csv import.

the last time I bind like you said, it basically fucked up the web because I have totally differents types.
More, if I have something that 2000articles. how can I check the recently 100 last binded articles and correct it if it's wrong ? it is impossible.

so this is why, I really need to know BEFORE binding which item is involved to correct it and/or assign it to the right type.

you cannot use what is not implemented, i can understand that this is important for you, but it i repeat this is not implemented, so what can we do now ?

Also forgive but i don't understand:

ALL joomla articles from J1.5 did not have the same appearance ??

if you bind to a single content type and fix this content type they will not have the same appearance ??

i don't understand why you can not bind all of them to 1 type and then customize this type ?

because I don't know from where are coming these items. I guess it's legacy from or migration or old component or even a bug, but I am not sure.

And as my types are really differents, I really need to know first about which items are we speaking about.
and as I told you, I have 2000 items. how can I find the 136 items binded once done ? it's impossible.

I know there is no native option in flexicontent to check that, this is why I ask it on forum ;)

maybe can we build some quick mysql request ?

Hello

in J1.5 you could have items that we managed by Joomla

in J3.x you can not do this

so after upgrading to J2.5/J3.x -only- these items will appear "unbound", this means that you can create a content type "TypeA" and bind all items to this content type

in J1.5 you could have items that we managed by Joomla

-only- these items will appear "unbound",

do you only see items that in J1.5 we managed by Joomla article manager or do you see some FLEXIcontent items that have lost their type ? !

Hello

-- the items will not appear in the items manager until you "bind" them

these items are Joomla articles that in J1.5 they were not inside the "FLEXIcontent section" so the Joomla article view was displaying them

-- you can backup web-site (just in case you want to restore) , create a new item type and bind them to a new item type

if some reason this fails, then you can send me a PM with super admin access to look for a possible bug

Regards
