Hello,

There is something I do not understand.
I just update a website in joomla 3.4.1 and FLEXIcontent-cck-3.0.0_Beta6b.
Before my SEF rewriting was done for my categories (for example: index.php?option=com_flexicontent&Itemid=104&cid=9&id=60341&view=item => SEF url)

Now I have two respective URL everytime.
(for example: index.php?option=com_flexicontent&Itemid=104&cid=9&id=60341&view=item and index.php?option=com_content&catid=9&id=60341&view=article )
I don't understand, I have no link to com_content in my website.

Thanks

Eric

Hello

there is a change relevant, but you very probably have a Joomla category view menu items or link somewhere or Joomla article view menu or links

new relevant change
-- by default content type ARTICLE (and optional other types too)
will allow Joomla article view thus people will not have any changes in their frontend when they first install FLEXIcontent

go to FLEXIcontent types manager and there is a new column, click the button to always redirect article type,

but this should effect only new installs and not old installs, so maybe you have enabled by mistake

Hello,

Since the beginning I have been working on the site with FLEXIcontent, I never put links to the com_content.
I tried disabled sef url to see the real url and when I look at the source code, I never see com_content in link of source code page
Strange, I don't understand. There's no com_content in link but sef find it somewhere ?

To test I remove all menus. I have keep only one link to a category and I still the same problem

Hello I don't understand if you do not have such links then how do you see them and where.

Please note that links to com_content from an external source does not mean that flexicontent generated them. Eg I can go to your website and type such a link

Please provide a flexicontent page that includes such link and then we can look at it

Hello

please note that i am asking for a FLEXIcontent page that has generated a com_content link,
- you have not shown a FLEXIcontent page or module that created a com_content link

the fact that the link exists does not mean that FLEXIcontent generated it

- Example on how a com_content link is created
1. a menu item of any type of com_content, e.g. a menu item of Joomla category view, or of Joomla article view
2. a Joomla module
3. you have install some other 3rd party extension that is creating the link
4. someone directly entered a Joomla category view URL which in turned created com_content article view URLs

in short, it is very unlikely that you will find a FLEXIcontent page or module that generates a com_content link
-- and you need to provide a FLEXIcontent page that show a created com_content link
otherwise the links were probably generated via the above 4 ways

i search through flexicontent repository code
- only place with com_content links is search code for J1.5 (our search plugins for search view) if J1.5 section of the item was not FLEXIcontent section

here are some reasons

- Example on how a com_content link is created
1. a menu item of any type of com_content, e.g. a menu item of Joomla category view, or of Joomla article view
2. a Joomla module
3. you have install some other 3rd party extension that is creating the link
4. someone directly entered a Joomla category view URL which in turned created com_content article view URLs

-- also you can try to see if the link (in the mijoSEF URL report) has a referer thus you know in which page to look for it, and e.g. find a module in that page that has the link, etc

When the site was in joomla 2.5. There is no problem ( no com_content link )
I have not installed 3rd party extension..
I have the problem since I update joomla and flexi
I'll still try to see what is the problem.

Thanks,

Eric

Hello

you can try a webcrawler to crawl the website and see the place that these are created
