Still wondering what I've done wrong in the transfer process... (if I ever did something wrong).

Yes! I watched it yesterday. Very interesting indeed. I think I'll give it a try soon (even though I don't use cPanel hosting).

I did the whole thing again! (Not with Akeeba this time. So Akeeba is not the cause.)
First I removed all files and folders from my distant site.
From local site I zipped all files and folders, copied the zipfile to distant site, and unzipped it.
With phpMyAdmin, I exported database from localhost and imported it into distant site.
I made the appropriate modifications to configuration.php.

And... result is still the same! Have a look at it yourself:


What should I do now? I've got no idea anymore

- since INDEX exists you should not be asked to re-create it !!

so if you get this message then the DB was not restored as your local site

many column indexes are missing, something went wrong with the transfer, i suspect your remote MySql server is bogus or misconfigured

In fact i suspect that you do not have enough privileges on the MySql server

Just curious
also test this: go to Joomla Extensions
- Click Manage and then click DATABASE at LEFT column
Does it say that Joomla DB tables are update to date ?

Database table structure is up to date.
Other Information
Database schema version (in #__schemas): 3.4.0-2015-02-26.
Update version (in #__extensions): 3.4.4.
Database driver: mysqli.
79 database changes were checked successfully.
142 database changes did not alter table structure and were skipped.

What do you think of this?

Si c'est du gratuit, il se pourrait que tu soit limité.

Je suis sur du gratuit : pages perso Free.

Si tout le monde devait prendre un hébergeur payant, y a pas bcp de gens qui se lanceraient dans la création d'un site web, il me semble

heu à 35€/an tout compris j'ai du mal à comprendre comparé à la galère et au limitation imposé par du gratuit... ne parlons même pas des performances ni du référencement ...
franchement difficile de t'aider sur un hébergement qui n'est pas fait pour ca ...

Le 100% gratuit ne sera pas compatible avec les outils que tu as choisit d'utiliser.
Pour les "pages perso de Free", peut-être revenir à joomla v1.5
