Hello

looking at it i see that they do not have a FLEXIContent menu item in them

are you opening these item URLs via the backend "preview" button in items manager ?

Hello

This was a big pain to track down,

it is a bug in Joomla JRoute::_()

for the URL in your example the Flexicontent default menu item is selected
- which is language all and it is a HOME page menu item for language "All"

but ... you have created specific language HOME page menu items
- that are not of type flexicontent component instead the are "com_content" feature menu items

-- Joomla router makes the assumption that all Home page menu items (of any language) point to same component

How to fix your website now

- Go to menu items manager create a new menu item of type "Featured articles" and language ALL , and set it to "DEFAULT" (aka to be home page)
then save it
note, because you are have the english menu called 'Home' , use another alias other than 'home' e.g. use 'home-global' or 'home-all'
