Email cloaking issue

Hi,

I'm running in to an issue trying to use email cloaking on the description field using the emailcloak plugin. When I enable it in the field settings, it creates the JavaScript but prepends it with "mailto" so when you click on the link it inserts the JS code into the email From field and not the address. Is this a known issue, and is there anything I can do about it?
