how to cancel the image link in Aidanews list

I really like use Aidanews in my website.
But for some reasons, I don't need Aidanews's default setting of images.
Which means Images of Aidanew list always link to single article.

For example, I already use javascript(lightbox) for my fist image in single article, and I want that javascript effect show in Aidanews list.
So the first thing I need to do is to cancel the image link to this single article in Aidanews list.
And I hope this image would show javascript in Aidanews list, just like it does in single article.

So how to cancel the image autolinke to single article?
And could my plan works?
