Hi,

I was just wondering the pertinence of the flexi cache system over the joomla cache system

Why use the flexi cache, aren't flexi content cached with the joomla cache?

Should we use both? or just the flexi cache?

I'm just trying to understand the concept.

thanks

Yes they are independent, use both.

But besides that the flexicontent v1.5.6 has a huge performance improvements on category view, and minor improvements on the item view.

Regards

i'm running 1.5.5 stable (r607).

But i don't see any 1.5.6 version anywhere, not even in the google group page.

Am i missing something? or am i too tired again that i am hallucinating?
