Making a textarea to have TABs combined with easy editting

Can you imagine a site that you have e.g. 4-5 tabs for a textarea field
but you would want to prevent the users from damaging the tab code???

Solution 1: create 4-5 textarea fields and then at your template insert the tab code and then make a call to trigger content plugin that creates the tabs (just about 3-4 lines of code) (i will post this in a separate howto POST)

Solution 2: Add support for this to the textarea field itself (add new configuration options.) So that on edit the textarea appears as multiple , but on display it runs the TAB-producing content plugin. This i am thinking of implementing
