[SOLVED] link 2 Main Menu to the Main Cat & show detail? was created by harky

How to link my Main Menu to the Main Category & show detail?

e.g
Under my Main Menu
There is a Pet Clinic Menu
When user click on the "Pet Clinic" it directly show the detail of the Clinic

rather than showing all my sub Category

mmm , 2 ways to do it (FC v1.5.x for J1.5):

1) Change menu item to link to a Joomla Section that flexicontent uses
(do so by changing the menu type to be of type Articles/Section Layout)
2) Create a new FLEXIcontent category e.g. call it "Site Content" and then set all your top level categories to have parent the new "Site Content" Category. Finally make your menu item to point to this category.
