Which parameters ?

Key Reference provides an alternative way to define an item for viewing instead of using the "id"

The parameter name is keyref and it is stored inside that "attribs" of the item, this parameter is inherited from com_content component.

Nevertheless it is not used. The purpose of this parameter is to have in the URL:

keyreg=somephrase instead of id=442

As i said it is currently not used.
