How to remove old search results?

Using Joomla 1.5 and Flexicontent ver version 1.5.5 stable (r607)

Having problem when I revise an item and save it, the search results do not change.

However, when I create a new item the search results change when I edit the item.

I've cleared Joomla cache and purged expired.

Viewing other posts seem to say you can empty a table named flexicontent_items_ext.

How can I delete or reinitialize the search results.

I edited the item to remove "You can be a vegetarian..." however it still shows up in Search results.

Any projected date on when 1.5.6 will be stable? I see it's RC4 now.

What does table flexicontent_items_ext do? Can I empty that?
