Uninstalling Flexicontent: --> Error 404 was created by meteo

Hello

I copied my full Installation of a site to a testhosting. After copying Database and files, all works ok.

Then I deinstallated Felxicontent, because I want to update to Joomla 3.3.x

--> After this: Error 404
--> When I reinstall felxicontent: Website works again! (but without the front-articles)

Do you know why?

Hello

first thing to check are your menu items

-- after uninstalling FLEXIContent,
the FLEXIcontent menu items are invalid

so any menu items pointing to FLEXIcontent (including home page if it points to any FLEXIcontent view) would be invalid

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
