Hello,

Thank you for your hint. But it seems we are talking about different things. I mean to make categories (at screenshot 1) looking the same. One of them is tuned as at screenshot two. But others are looking as at the screenshot 3. Is it possible?

Hello

that is what i suggested above

to make categories look the same, all parameters that are set to
"Use global" (select parameter)
or
are empty (text parameters)

will be inherited

-- for the above to work in template parameters, please check that they are "use global" or empty, if there is no "use-global" in your blog template, then please delete the template and then recopy the original template with same name

thus e.g.
check if the "use-global" exists in the parameters of the built-in template

if it does then

a. delete your old "myblog-1"
b. recopy "blog" with name "myblog-1"
c. restore any other custom HTML that you had changed

in v3 final we will also have, top-level configuration for template parameters in template managers, because now top-level categories do not inherit template parameters from anywhere

The reason for different display of 3rd picture,
is that you have set 2 columns for standard items in the blog template parameters

- the 3rd screenshot has
Leading items: 1
Leading columns: 1
Standard columns: 2

e.g. To have same display with 1 column, you can set template (category layout) parameters:
Leading items: 0
Leading columns: ANY ...
Standard columns: 1

you can configure 1 category and then use "Copy parameters" button to copy parameters to many categories,

The best would be to set the parameters globally and then have all your categories to "Use global"

v3 BETA 6 allows the above,
it adds global parameters for templates layouts (for item layouts, and for category layouts),

-- the global template parameters appear in the FLEXIcontent template layout editor,
you can now both add fields into positions and set Layout parameters,

Our webmaster made the separate but the same template for each category (2 columns of news in each). But when we put any of two categories at one page they are displayed in 1 column. What is the reason for such situation.

Hello

- also note that setting columns to 2 means "maximum 2" thus is size is reduced it will to less

- if thw width is enough it can be some CSS is in effect

you can view the HTML and check if indeed the correct CSS class is there:
class="... two ..."
e.g. for both leading and intro blocks using 2 columns it should be:
Code:
<ul class="leadingblock two group"> ... </ul> <ul class="introblock two group"> ... </ul>
