Test file format and prepare import ok but still .csv import "Invalid Token" error

Hi,

I thought i managed to import successfully but something goes wrong during import.
When i "Test file format", i get the green light from FC. And when i click "Prepare Import Task", all seems right.
For example, the secondary category column is showing fine in the "Prepare Import Task", but after import none of them are set when looking at the Items.
And in the import page showing the progress bar, i get several "Invalid Token". But it does not show which ones are invalid.

Does anybody know what could cause these "Invalid Token"?

Thanks in advance.

Hello

in the page of the progress bar, you have a log window

- the log window will show something like

"Created Item with title ... created"
and / or an error messages / warnings

it seems that the Item model "save" task fails at its start with "Invalid Token"
so no fies are created

but you have forgotten to mention Joomla and FLEXIcontent version

Of course, sorry about that.
The site is running J 3.4.1 and FC 2.2.2 rc1

And here is a what i see in the log window. Note that i had to change the file titles to 'File Title' for privacy reason. Other than that, it's a copy/paste of the log i see.

The .csv file has 390 entries. And after the completion of the import, only 99 were created and visible in the item list. And around half of these are missing the main category (catid) which is set in the Import settings, and the secondary (cid) which is set in the .csv file.

I hope it helps.

Cheers

I forgot to ask.

Could this be because of foreign character or improper symbol i can see in a few entries such as: B√°o c√°o th?o lu?n c√°c ?

Hello

before the import starts, you get a -preview- page

does it look like data format (all columns) was properly recognized ?

what type of separators do you have for ?
- Item (record)
- Fields

it will break if the separator appear inside field data,
e.g. if you field separator is TAB, and this appears inside the DATA, then you data should be quoted
with e.g. "
and the quotes inside the DATA should be escaped: \"

That's why i don't understand the issue, because when i review before importing, everything looks fine. The columns have the right info. And for some column, some item have nothing such as the tag_name which is as expected.

For Item, the .csv file uses a new line so in the import settings i enter: \n as shown in the tooltip
For the field, I have: ~

I use OpenOffice calc to generate my csv as i found excel terrible and does not let you set any separator or anything. But the problem is that openoffice does not let me add ~~ only a single ~
But i look in the file, and i could not find any ~ in text field.

What do you use for .csv files?

And when you say: and the quotes inside the DATA should be escaped: \"
Does it mean that if i have a url in one of the text such as <a href="link.html" title="my link title">my link</a> ; I should make it <a href=/"link.html/" title=/"my link title/">my link</a> before importing?
