[SOLVED] Image is not showing in preview popup window, when sharing to facebook via ADDThis

if you mean change the image after facebook has opened the page,

you cannot do it immediately, it takes hours before facebook will look at the page again

This is the correct URL to see what facebook is finding in your page:

"Show existing ..." will show current datea
"Fetch new ..." will force it to read the page again

also note there are 2 ways to add images in FLEXIcontent, either via parameter in
- toolBAR field
- image field

enable only 1 of these 2

Once I have asked "Fetch now..." the problem is corrected.

This seems meaning there is a problem in facebook : the page updates are not taken in charge at all even after more days. Only the debug "fetch now..." corrects the problem.

also after a page receives 50+ likes you cannot change the
og:title

and after thousands of likes you cannot change
og:type

and changes will be ignored, about image i am not sure

-- also do not enable GZIP , in Joomla Global parameter,
if the HTML source of page is larger of 40K after compression

facebook will not download more that 40KBytes (maybe they will increase this in the future ?) thus if it is larger than 40K , facebook will not be able to uncompress
