I am using FLEXIcontent - Universal Content in two distinct areas on this page:
liberaltkalejdoskop.se/

However, I want to seperate the output formating depending on where the module is located- you can find an image of what I mean here:

How can I achieve this?

Hello

1. use the module class suffix parameter in the styling TAB,
this will be added to the module's top-level container and then you can use CSS to style it differently

2. create a new template for the universal module:
See FAQ aritcle:
How to create a custom Template for Universal content module

Hello

you can do either 1 or 2
or you can do both

i would say just adding the CSS class suffix to the module container and then adding your CSS is a good and fast solution

Sorry for messing up this thread earlier. This has now been resolved by adding the correct suffix, and more importantly - what dawned on this sorry sod now was that I had to add "!important" to the css-file to overrule the default formating of the object properties I wanted to change.

Hello

great majority of FLEXIcontent rules do not have !important

- for all rules regardless of having !important, this applies:
1. copy to a CSS file of your Joomla template (never modify FLEXIcontent CSS files, unless it is item/category view template)
2. and then just prepend 'body' or similar, to make them of be of higher priority

usually the rules that have !important in universal module are associated with behaviour, e.g. image stretching , auto-fitting
