Does FC processes 404 error?

Does FC processes 404 error?
I entered wrong url - and FC displays home page with Status: HTTP/1.1 303 See other
No any 404 pages... :ohmy:

First 404 should always be last choice, but we can through 404 NOT found in all our every views !!

Question if you used a wrong URL, then how do you know that it went though FLEXIcontent router ?

I compared the behavior to another site , which works on k2.
I open article
pyatochkin.ru/do-you-know/392-menyu-rebe...i-kak-ikh-prigotovit
then I changed url to
pyatochkin.ru/do-you-2222222know/392-men...i-kak-ikh-prigotovit
And I got 404 error.
I tried same with FC.
I open url mysite.com/system/drivers/item/3-sisoftware-sandra-lite
then I changed url to
mysite.com/system/drivers222222/item/3-sisoftware-sandra-lite
and it redirects on main page.

e.g.
www.flexicontent.org/downloads/latest-version.html
to
www.flexicontent.org/downloads2/latest-version.html

e.g.
www.flexicontent.org/documentation/faq/7...db-requirements.html
www.flexicontent.org/documentation/faq44...db-requirements.html

Please note
- that above if you change ALIAS part then URL is still valid

In your case it depends on
- the last menu item alias that is found in the URL segments

Your example show it to be : /system/
mysite.com/system/drivers222222/item/3-sisoftware-sandra-lite
what is the type of menu item /system/?

also 303 redirect does not exist inside FLEXIcontent code

maybe it is the language filter plugin ? (which also handle language switching)

My site main menu is FLEXIContent » Category » Category (Root category)

I tried wrong urls like site.com/i3y4gf9wehj

and got 303 redirect to main page.

System - Language Filter plugin is disabled.
