upgrade to 3.1.0-

Hello,
Updating from 3.0.14-rc2a to 3.1.0-rc2 resulted in "Initial permission Problem for asset with id: 102 Problem for category with id: 13(Packages)" loop, which I am unable to resolve.

Recently converted to Joomla 3.6.0 from 3.5.1 and was reluctant to upgrade, but after reading the flexi forum for compatibility issues in new flexicontent, decided to take the plunge.

Is there a workaround or a fix to by-pass as I am unable to edit anything on the site and really need quick response.

2 ways to try to fix this:

- either in phpmyadmin open table: PPP_assets
and delete row with name: name=="com_content.category.13" and id==102
(be careful to select only the specific row !)
Then re-edit category and set its permissions again or just let the category have the defaults

- or this may work too:
in Joomla plugins manager filter by "system" type and edit: flexisytem plugin
in parameter "allow category manager" add "Super users"
and save
then go to Joomla category manager and click rebuild button
