[SOLVED] Resize Image on upload was created by alitogata

I know originals are saved and I can set the size of Large/Medium/Small etc for viewing but how can I set it instead of the size of the image to resize any image uploaded to specific dimensions?

I will have users uploading photos that don't know how to resize a photo and I don't want to have a 3MB photo sitting in my server. I know I can set the limit of MB to upload but then it won't let them to upload at all.

no way at all, we use original image to calculate update
a rezize image for original will be a good idea
i open an issue github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/issues/610

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I added to it short term milestone (will add for v3.1.0 final)

it is rather important
- for saving space
- and for being more user friendly

and also rather littler work to do !
