[SOLVED] Auto check in after user close browser

Hi

i have problem when user edit content on frontend but they dont save or logout after edit the content. so another user cannot edit the content because the content still check in by previous user.

so how can i make user automatic check out from the content it being edit when user close browser.

also

can i show in frontend who been checked on that content

you can use joomla plugin for that search on jed i think

or you can do it at
flexicontent system plugins ("Core functions")

inside it you can find setting to force auto-check-in
- after NN hours of being open

please note that this cancels the idea of not allowing 2 authors to edit same item at the same time
e.g. if you set it to 1 hour, then some user may still have it open in its browser

in the above case last user to click save will overwrite the changes of the other editor
