Hello

> It's very strange, even sometimes you even lose the image of the original item.

you can loose the images of other items if the content item of the default site language does not have any images
but it may be in other case ?

we need to improve / fix this,
will test to verify behaviour ...

- for now it is best to set image in item of default site language and save it, associated items should be updated

>for now it is best to set image in item of default site language and save it, associated items should be updated
That way does not work.
Steps:
  1. Spanish language Item created with an image field.
  2. Check the Item to translate to English and Click in the batch button for copying.
  3. Set some params.
  4. Save & close
  5. Not copying the images
  6. Associate the item copied to the original
  7. Not show images in traslated version.

Sorry for my insistence.
Which is the worflow for translation?
My way:
  1. Create item and upload image in the field.
  2. Copy the item
  3. Change language and category and save
  4. Associate them
  5. Open the new item and I don't see the image, but I can see that notice: Field value is shared among translations (language associations) of this content.
This workflow is correct?
I try another way:
  1. Create item but NOT upload image in the field.
  2. Copy the item
  3. Change language and category and save.
  4. Associate them.
  5. Upload the image in a original item.
  6. Now I can see the images in both items

I've just read in www.flexicontent.org/forum/21-troublesho...mbnailing-issue.html that:

please note that copying an item will not copy its pictures

Is that correct?
