Integrate category field in Text search field?

Is it possible to integrate (insert) category filed right in Text search filed?

you mean the TEXT search autocomplete (= word suggestions), right ?

We have just made text-search autocomplete (word-suggestion) 2x-5x faster
(depending on which 3rd party system plugins you have on your website) ! thus we also remove the loading rotation image too !)

PS: flexicontent system plugins add minimal load on every page load (even when they trigger a cache refresh even then their effect is small / very small), but there are other 3rd party system plugins that if you add enough of them they will make Joomla Initialize part be 3x or 6x !!

- both the JS code and the server side code support single or multiple categor IDs for the text-search

Looking at it , it seems trivial to check if the (sub-)category filter is active AND use it instead of current category ID(s)

it is possible to do override the layout file: filters.php
but better wait for v3.1.2, will both make use of categories filter and append it
