Currencies for price?

Hi!
How to configure currencies exchange rates for price field?
Users should have ability to switch prices on desired currency.
What field type should I use for Price field?

a text / number field can only have
- client side (form) / server side validation
- and some display customization

for displaying instead of switching
- you could create a custom layout file and put all currencies there
but the above is probably not ergonomic

thinking of this more , a new field type "currency" would be needed to be created

I'm waiting for this field with impatience.

Also for multicurrency sites it is important to be able to assign the base currency for each individual object.

its not a priority sorry we work on 3.2.0 for j3.7 compatibility
but not sure to be planned for 3.2.1
