Flexicontent Image field updated to Joomla Article Image

I notice this feature was not yet implemented to flexicontent

How can I add this manually
I'm using minitek as joomla article display but voila same problem , image from custom field not showing.

Joomla intro and full article image will show in item form in their own TAB
- if they are not showing then you have not enable them in the "Options" of Joomla article manager

... or better go to Flexicontent type manager and edit the item type enable them for some specific types

Now if you want to mix them in item / category viewing as a flexicontent field
and also be able to order them inside them flexicontent item form
then
1. create a new flexicontent image field
2. at the source Tab select as source "Intro / Full" images

Images show when image type fields source is set as "Intro / Full" images

But I wanted to know how to set the image to be viewed when source is set as "item+field specific folder"

you would show the image-gallery field like any other gallery field

you will drag and drop into a template position by editing the layout of type of the item at the type manager

when you create any new Flexicontent field
it is not displayed automatically, (except of the initial core fields)

you need to click on the pencil to edit the layout and at the "Fields placement" Tab drag and drop the field
