About extending file field actions

About extending file field actions was created by webiedesign

We have a file field to provide links to pdf files. We would like visitors to be able to download or view the file. Currently, this adds 2 buttons to the item. Can these options be available from a popup ?

you can create your template output
in plugins/flexicontent_fields/file/tmpl
duplcate and rename value_inlineBoxes.php like value_yourname.php
after this you can select it in field configuration
you can do what you want

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
