you mean redirect to item view ? or authorized ?
I tried the twm but maybe my question was not clear enough : that i want to know is this : is it possible to have categories and article in joomla native way without fc in paralell with an fc site ? Mays is is not ..

display joomla article => set authorize if you want to redirect to joomla article
you need link to item (ex if you do a flexicontent categorie view, like to readmore display a flexicontent item)
for editing i do mistake
go to flexicontent global configuration > item form > > joomla article form
for category you can't excude a specific category check System - Flexisystem, core tasks plugin
