[BUG to be fixed ...] Preview link on unpublished articles, does not redirect to back to previewed item after login was created by sdhal

When I am trying to preview any draft article from backend by clicking on preview icon from items view.

It asks me for username password on Front end screen, once i login to the system it redirect me to not found page with this url (check screen attached).

This only happens on first attempt to preview, once logged in all other previews works fine.

Could you please help here, this is urgent.

your flexicontent version ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I am using FLEXIcontent 3.1.0

Hello

Due to security concerns we have disable auto-login to frontend , a long time ago

Now about redirection back to item, not working after login

yes it is a bug,

so yes it is a requirement to first login to frontend,
- then all preview links will work

Also, you should also update to v3.1.1

We will fix the redirection bug in v3.1.2 or v3.1.3
