Gavick News Pro 1 is working for me like charm.

I choose one of my flexi categories in the list and I get "Error: Any articles to show" even though there is one item in there.

I also have the Gavick Image Show and it's almost working. It seems to create links like this:
www.mysite.com/component/content ... 37/53.html

Not very good. I can create a custom link to it I guess, but choosing the article in the list doesn't seem to do it though.

I thought something like a wiki would be great for this, so I made a google spreadsheet where anybody can edit, and update it. spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... CZUE&hl=en

Glad to say that I was wrong about the BCA RSS Feed. It works fine and you can exclude categories. It just seemed like it wasn't working at the time because it has it's own caching which I overlooked.

I second the wish for FLEXIcontent to work with the Sections/Categories options using the Advanced Module Manager(AMM) plugin. Without it working, I'm unable to place a module only on a specific page/subcategory. Is there any other way to accomplish this?

UPDATE: It seems that the best workaround for my problem is to create a sort of 'false menu' in the menu manager (no need to create a module as this menu will not be displayed anywhere on the site). Within the false menu's Menu Item Manager, I created Menu Items that link to the FLEXIcontent categories in which I wanted to use category-specific modules. Now, I can go back to the module parameters for the module(s) I want displayed in a specific category and, within the AMM options for that module, I select the false menu item under Menu Items and it works perfect.

"Simple Image Gallery" and "Very Simple Image Gallery" works both fine.

I updated ILLeTs spreadsheet at spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... CZUE&hl=en
