Is it safe to downgrade? was created by Deminora

Hello, I accidentally upgraded to latest RC version. Now it seems that some bugs appear and I'm not really sure how to deal with them. Will it be safe for me to downgrade to the latest stable version?

It is most likely not bugs,

maybe you need to reconfigure something, or it is due a bug fix

e.g. previous versions trigger all plugins loaded by previous fields which was wrong behavior

yes in general you can safely downgrade (WITHOUT uninstalling),
but always you should backup your site, before upgrade or downgrade
