hi, after installing Flexicontent r1857, in the frontend I only see this error message

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE fi.published = 1 AND fi.access IN (0,1,1,2,3,6) GROUP BY fi.id ORDER BY ft' at line 1 SQL=SELECT fi.* FROM hj7ts_flexicontent_fields AS fi LEFT JOIN hj7ts_flexicontent_fields_type_relations AS ftrel ON ftrel.field_id = fi.id AND ftrel.type_id = WHERE fi.published = 1 AND fi.access IN (0,1,1,2,3,6) GROUP BY fi.id ORDER BY ftrel.ordering, fi.ordering, fi.nam

What can I do to fix it? my joomla version is 3.3

Hello

did you go to backend:

1. click FLEXIcontent and then click to complete post-installation tasks ?

2. then visit items manager (=like Joomla article manager) and you will be asked to assign a content type (default TYPE is article) to your Joomla articles ??

if you have done the above then you can try uninstalling FLEXIcontent v2.1.3 and re-installing it (NOTE never uninstall if you have data in FLEXIcontent fields, because the FLEXIcontent fields will be deleted)

finally you can upgrade to v2.2.0 (you upgrade without uninstalling):

Hello

ok so you
- completed post-installation tasks
or
- you installed v2.2.0 (note v2.2.0 is more appropriate for J3.3 than v2.1.3)

or did you do both the above ?

Regards

Hello

v2.2.0 besides new high performance and new features,

it is more appropriate for J3.3 because in v2.1.3 the backend CSS and parameter placement for J3.3 is a bit ugly too

we will continue on backend UI work in v2.2.1 to make it even easier to use FLEXIcontent and v2.2.0/v2.2.1 UI will be the base for our VIDEO tutorials

Regards
