Filter or sort articles on textfields

Hi,
I have a problem with filtering articles in blogview based the result of a textfield that triggers a plugin.
The plugin returns a kind of "yes" or "no" result from an XML-file and is presented on the page as an image. My textfield just place the plugin on the page with opening and closing tags.
Does anyone have a good idea of how to filter the articles in order based on the result of the plugin, eg. "Yes" first and then "No". The plugin result is not stored i the database.
Maybe we have to add som code to the plugin to make it be sortable or filterable in Flexi.
All suggestions are welcome.

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion and for the new version with much better filtering.
However my problem did was not solved by this - yet.
After upgrade from stable version .558 to version .607 the kategory view of serveral kategories, was broken and render a white page.
Did I miss any important step in the update process?

The problem was solved by replacing the file view.http.php from views/category with the one from .558

The sorting problem still persists as it sorts based on the adress in the field, not the result of the plugin.
