[SOLVED] How do you make the file field a required field was created by Mr_Boy

Hi

Just a quick question; how would you make the Flexicontent - File field a required field ?

What we are trying to do is; when a person submits an article on the front-end they can not publish the article if there was no file uploaded/attached to the article. (Hope that makes sense

)

I see that the other fields have that option, why doesn't the file field ?

The 'Required' configuration attribute is not implemented for the file field. But you can install the following modified "file field" that has the this attribute.

[attachment=0:a6a8syi2]flexicontent_file_field.zip[/attachment:a6a8syi2]
