Date plugin shows as 'array; was created by sankesolutions

I am using the date plugin and on the frontend where the date is supposed to show all I get is 'array'.

I have tried different date formats as well as my own and nothing seems to work, it always shows as array.

Any ideas?

Which version are you using?

Sorry for the delay didnt realise anyone had responded. My version is 1.5.4 stable (r558). On Joomla 1.5.20 this is a test non live environment.

Try this first, overwrite existing files, open item in edit and enter date, save and then test

Also check date field configuration for anything weird, save date field configuration again before editing the items
