thx – yes you are right, in blog-view it works and in item-view there's no logical reason to show a "readmore". :roll:

The error was not that we did not see in the front end, if you manually type your own <hr> it will work, the button plugin fails in the backend when called by flexicontent.

Hello

We have Flexicontent 1.5.4 stable (r558) and the Readmore Button is simply not there under the HTML editor.

It doesn't show for any kind of content type.
The plugin is enabled.

Can anybody help please???

This has been fixed in v1.5.5 and higher.
(More precisely fixed in r561 by enjoyman)

Please for both files:
administrator\components\com_flexicontent\views\item\tmpl\default.php
and
components\com_flexicontent\views\item\tmpl\form.php

Replace line:

$field->html = $this->editor->display( 'text', $maintext, '100%', $height, '75', '20', '' ) ;

with:

Code:

$field->html = $this->editor->display( 'text', $maintext, '100%', $height, '75', '20') ;
