Minigallery - file type is not supported was created by kocmoc

Hi guys,

First of all Great Thanks for developing such a great product. It has solved a lot problems for me and I was able to create a directory overnight

I'm having a problem with Minigallery. When uploading a file in backend I get the following error message:

This file type is not supported.

I have searched the forum, but similar problem is not listed (maybe I missed it).
Could you give me a clue how to fix it?
Website is running on remote server. Joomla 1.5.23. FlexiContent 1.5.4 (com_flexicontent_154_stable_r558.tar).
