Content Plugin in article

Hi,

Sorry for this dumb question but I really do not get how to display a standard content plugin inside an article/item, like is done using the standard joomla com_content (e.g something like "{fabrik view=form id=1}").

I saw some explanation about creating a field including access to a plugin. Beside finding the process quite cumbersome, I do not want to have a field displayed beneath the item.

Can someone explain me how to do that ?

Hi,

If you want to use a content plugin in the description field, you have to edit the field 'description' and enable 'Trigger content plugins' and select the plugin(s) you want to activate in the plugins list.

So, in the description, you just have to use the standard syntax of the plugin.

I'm trying to put a gallery view inside an article content.
The plugin works in joomla content, but when I try this same plugin in FLEXIcontent, it doesn`t work.
I'm using "bretteleben.de Simple Picture Slideshow", I have allowed this plugin in the Description field definition.
Any idea? There is something more to configure?

I think this plugin is working with Flexicontent, but never try it myself :

May be it's a cache problem, you can try 'Tools > Clean Cache' and refresh your page.
